UPDATE: Alcohol factor in Okaloosa County early morning accident

OKALOOSA COUNTY   --  UPDATE:  Alcohol played a role in a deadly accident in Okaloosa County early this morning.

Florida Highway Patrol says 28-year-old Sean Gallagher was driving "Under the Influence" along Highway 98 in Mary Esther around five am.

He drifted off the road and overcorrected causing his vehicle to flip several times.
He and his passenger Duloris Gonzalez were thrown from the vehicle.

Both were taken to a nearby hospital.
Gonzalez was pronounced dead.

Gallagher was treated for his injures and then placed under arrest for DUI manslaughter.
He is being held in the Okaloosa County Jail.
