UPDATE: Latest on Crestview abduction

ABDUCTION UPDATE: Crestview police have located a van linked to the disappearance of a boy in foster care.
Police say 3 year old Emmanuel Menz was having a supervised visit with his parents when they abducted him.
This was at the Burger King on South Ferdon Boulevard, Thursday.

The Department of Children and Families' supervisor left the family alone to go to the restroom.
DaMonica Rivas said "The whole premise of a supervised visit is to supervise a child at all times, so clearly there was something there and we're all working together to find out what happened and what the next steps will be."

The van was found Friday morning, about half a mile away, behind the Cracker Barrel restaurant.
Police are searching it for evidence.

They're still looking for the boy and his parents, Karl Menz and Virginia Lynch.

They may be driving a U-haul van. It has an Arizona license plate and a U-haul ID number of BE5700R, clearly marked on all sides.
If you know where this family is or see the van, you're asked to call 911.
