Tropical Depression 2 has formed over the Atlantic Ocean. The system is moving west and is headed to the Caribbean Sea. This system is not forecast to become much stronger and could become non-tropical by Thursday.

Fatal fire in Escambia County

An Escambia County  woman was found dead in her burning home last night. Firefighters say the woman's body was found near the living room in a home on Wilson Avenue just after 9 p.m.

It may not look like much from the outside now, but last night it was a different scene. A woman died in the fire last night. Exactly how she died and what caused the fire is still being investigated.

Also the woman's name hasn't been released at this time. But neighbors say she's only been living here for a few months and they're sad to learn this happened to her.

"I'm really sorry for the family and I'm sorry i didn't get to know her hopefully she's in a better place."
