Mardi Gras fun
PENSACOLA - Thousands of people reveled in the Mardi Gras fun in downtown Pensacola Saturday. Dozens of festive floats rolled along the parade route with Krewes throwing out beads, candy and a few moon pies for the crowd. This year's Mardi Gras was extra special for Frances Yeo a cancer survivor.
"You've got to celebrate everyday. Every single day, it doesn't matter what you're going through" said Frances Yeo, Cancer Survivor
The last time we told you about Frances Yeo, she was in the hospital, battling her sixth round of cancer.
She was parading around the hospital decked out in purple, green and gold ahead of her chemo treatment.
Now 4 months later, she still has her positive attitude.
She's still in the Mardi Gras spirit, and healthier.
"I got all clear scans, we've checked cancer number six off the list, it's done, so I can relax and enjoy this and it just feels good to smile" said Yeo.
