Navarre Storm damage

NAVARRE  --  The line of thunderstorms that moved through the area caused some damage.
In Santa Rosa County the storm blew off part of the roof of a shopping center in Navarre.

Some of the people here say they felt the building shaking then all of a sudden the roof crashed into the parking lot damaging several cars along the way.

Store employees and their customers at Sound Plaza in Navarre were in disbelief of the storm damage.

Just as the winds picked up the roof came off of the building and the dogs started barking and whining"

Next door the owner of Head to Toe Saloon.

"I was sitting at my desk & it was just quiet and we were talking about the weather and the windows just bowed all in and I ran to the door and grabbed the door to lock it then all the roof started falling"

Strong winds from the storm blew part of the roof off the shopping plaza.
Several pieces of the roof that blew into the parking lot smashed into the windows of parked cars.

"It's pretty crazy, it was very sudden and I didn't expect any of it"
People did what they could to protect what was inside their vehicles covering them with tarp.

Meanwhile over on Navarre Beach, the storm's wrath continued.
The wind knocked over this trailer.
Clean-up crews picked up what was left after a couple of lifeguard towers ripped apart.

Back at the shopping plaza, crews had their work cut out for them as they cleaned up prices of tarp, boards and plywood from the parking lot.

"It's scary, I'm just glad everybody is safe"
In a matter of hours, the debris was cleaned up.
Luckily no was one hurt..
