Pensacola kids get their fingerprints taken

Some kids in Pensacola got their fingerprints taken today.

They weren't in trouble with the law though. More than 40 kids got their fingerprints taken at the Walmart on Blue Angel Parkway by the Escambia County Sheriff Office Explorers -- a group of teens who want to be in law enforcement. The fingerprints are a way for parents to protect their child in case they go missing.

The fingerprints are not going into a database. They are given to parents for personal use
