Santa Rosa Co deputies remind citizens to call a taxi when drinking too much

SANTA ROSA COUNTY  --  It's an unusual way to draw attention to the potential price of driving drunk.
The Santa Rosa Sheriff's Office gave the front half of an old patrol car a new paint job.

It reminds people that a taxi ride costs about 24 dollars.
Getting arrested can cost you ten-thousand dollars.

The car will be displayed at the sheriff's office and at events throughout the county.

The hope is that seeing it will remind drivers to call a cab when they've been drinking.
