"Worst" Wheel of Fortune player

He's being called the worst Wheel of Fortune player ever.

Indiana University freshman Julian Batts missed big chances during Friday's "Wheel of Fortune" episode.

First, the honors student lost his shot at one-million-dollars after correctly guessing all the letters in "mythological hero achilles" but mispronouncing the name.

"Mythological hero a-chill-is."

"It just kind of hit me like a train and I really didn't know how to react to it."

According to the show, "when a contestant tries to solve a puzzle, they must pronounce it using the generally accepted pronunciation".
But the epic flub was just the beginning of Batts' bad luck.

He made two other incorrect guesses, missing out on a car and a trip to London.
But in the end, despite the mistakes, he still won the game, taking home just under $12,000.
