Okaloosa toddler abducted by non-custodial parents found safe in Nevada

A three-year-old boy who was abducted in Okaloosa County, has been found in Nevada.

Police say Emmanuel Menz was kidnapped by his non-custodial parents nearly a month ago from a Burger King in Crestview.

The child and his parents were found in Henderson, Nevada. That's about 15 miles southeast of Las Vegas.

The Crestview Police Department worked with multiple state and federal agencies in the search for Emmanuel.

According to Crestview Chief of Police Tony Taylor, a tip placing the three year old near Henderson, Nevada broke the case.

"The FBI's been deeply involved in this investigation, and they contacted the FBI Las Vegas office out there, and they were able to locate them and arrest them without incident and take little Manny back into custody."

Menz's parents Karl Menz and Virginia Lynch are currently in a Nevada jail.

Authorities say they are working on bringing them back to Florida to face charges.
