Kipling Manor loses operating license

New developments in the investigation into violations at Kipling Manor Assisted Living Facility.

The Agency for Health Care Administration has ordered an emergency suspension of Kipling Manor's operating license which means it can no longer function as an assisted living facility.

A moratorium has also been placed on the retirement home which means it can no longer accept any new patients.

An investigation found Kipling Manor was putting its resident's health and safety at risk.
Just last week a Representative from the Department of Children and Families caught a Kipling employee falsifying a patient's medical records.

At least 6 residents were not getting their proper medications yet the false paperwork said otherwise.

The license suspension goes into effect on May 14th at 5 that afternoon.

Between now and then Kipling must post its license suspension on its door.
Kipling must also use a licensed pharmacist or registered nurse to handle resident medications.
