Weather Alert

On the map below, the circle over the Gulf of Mexico is for an area of low pressure heading toward Texas.  Development is not expected.  Also, we're tracking Cristobal and a tropical wave over the Atlantic Ocean that may become another depression though chances are low.

WEAR Shred-a-thon Friday at Cordova and Santa Rosa County Malls

Anyone can become a victim of identity theft.
But there are ways to curb the risk.
Shredding your old bills, bank statements, and tax forms is a good way to help protect yourself from thieves.

WEAR is teaming up with Cat Country 98.7, Gilmore Shredding and the Better Business Bureau to offer a Shred-a-thon.
The shred trucks will be at Cordova Mall in Pensacola and Santa Rosa Mall in Mary Esther this Friday from 11 am until 7 pm.
You can get up to 50 pounds of personal documents shredded for free.
