Coffee drinkers lower their risk of type 2 diabetes

Good news for all you coffee-drinkers out there. There's a new study out that says the more coffee you drink, the less likely you'll get type two diabetes.

The study a well-known diabetes journal. It took a look at the coffee drinking habits of 120,000 people over a four year period.

The study found people who had more than a cup a day had an 11 percent lower risk of type two diabetes, compared to those who stayed with that one cup.

Researchers say up to six cups a day is associated with lower risk, though they aren't sure exactly why.

But the research only looked at coffee, not sure if applies to lattes and other specialty drinks.
