Crestview man cleared in deadly shoot-out

A man in Crestview has been cleared of any wrong-doing in a shoot-out that left another man dead.
In January, Crestview police were trying to execute a search warrant at a home on North Savage street.

When they went in, they say a gunfight broke out with Rasheik Calhoun.
Calhoun was killed.

An investigation by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement shows that members of the Crestview Police Department acted appropriately.
It also determined that Calhoun acted alone in firing on the officers.

Aphrey Collis was in the home at the time and he was arrested.
Now those charges have been dropped.

Collis was released from the Okaloosa County jail on Friday.
