West Pensacola homeless camp fight continues in

WEST PENSACOLA  --  The fight over a homeless camp in West Pensacola is not over just yet.
The property the homeless camp sits on is owned by non-profit group, Sean's Outpost.
The group won the fight to keep the camp in place after allegations they violated county code were dismissed.

But people living in the nearby Mayfair neighborhood see it differently.
They say the camp is a nuisance and possibly dangerous.

"You've got homeless people walking around all the time, begging for money... Going through your trash at night."

"It's funny to me though that North Hill didn't want a probation office in their neighborhood.  No one seems to care about this."
Now those people are hoping Escambia County commissioners will help.
They have thirty days to appeal the magistrate's ruling.
Commissioners are expected to discuss this issue at today's meeting.
