Mobile Alabama man rescued twice by fire department

MOBILE  --  A Mobile Alabama man trapped as rising waters flooded his car, was rescued by police late last night and it was all caught on camera...

But the story took a strange turn when the man tried to return to his car  and was swept away by the current.

He managed to grab a small tree and held on as rescue workers attempted to secure him a second time..
With his wife screaming for help, a fireman attached himself to a swift water rescue line and rode the current across Halls Mills Creek to the man.
The fireman put a life jacket on the man, attached a safety line and they were pulled across the stream to safety.
