Weather hinders firefighters in Niceville large house fire

NICEVILLE  --  The weather hindered firefighters trying to put out a large fire in Niceville.

When they arrived on Marion Drive, just after one this morning flames were shooting through the roof.

The Assistant Fire Chief says high winds and lightning made it a dangerous job and it took about four hours to put out the fire.

The home is vacant and was scheduled to be auctioned.
The Fire Marshal's office is investigating.
