Gulf Breeze Flooding

Going in to today we were 9 inches of rain above normal in Pensacola and in other areas possibly even higher. this morning's rain didn't help. You can see here on Rancho Village Drive lots of flooding people can't leave their driveways, the only way to get out was to have one of these larger vehicles.

The only way for many neighbors to get through the Gulf Breeze neighborhood was to wade through it. Garem Blythe knew it wasn't a smart idea to drive through...

I'm having to walk to end of subdivision to meet somebody to pick me up cause I can't get my car through it. This is the only way in and out to get there.

Over in Navarre at the entrance of Holly by the Sea- flooding made things tricky for folks trying to come and go.

It wasn't just the roadways.
In Gulf Breeze proper...on Camelia Drive-some backyards looked like pools

We are basically saturated. We are down 30 inches since January I believe. 11 or so inches just the past couple weeks so there's really nowhere for the water to go the ground is saturated
