BERTHA QUICKLY HEADING WEST-NORTHWEST

Tropical Storm Bertha formed over the Atlantic Thursday night and is heading west-northwest.  It has winds of 45 miles per hour and is not forecast to become a hurricane. The storm is not forecast to move into the Gulf of Mexico.

Beef prices are going up

It seems like a good steak or hamburger for your cookouts might start costing you more and more.

Beef prices don't seem to be slowing down any time soon, the price of beef has jumped from about $4.90 to well over $5 a pound this year.

This is all because the US has a low cattle supply this year, the lowest since the 1950s.

The ongoing drought across much of the Country is responsible for the small herds.
