FSU baseball team unveils new logo and uniforms

Florida State University recently unveiled their new logo and uniforms.
The team's athletics officials  worked with Nike for the past two years on the  redesign of  the logo and uniforms.

While trying to maintain the integrity of the university and the Seminole tribe.
Some people aren't fans of the change.

This is old logo many say it's a reminder of tradition. This is it's replacement. Subtle changes in the hair, face structure and coloring. Some are embracing the change. Others are boycotting."

Skip Hibbeard is a Florida State University alumni.
Graduating in 1956. He's a die hard FSU fan.

Skip Hibbeard. "I watch baseball as much as I can basketball some, and all the football. I even recorded all the football games this year, so I can re-watch them."

We showed him a picture of the new logo
"That's the first time I've seen it and I didn't even know they were making a new one. I'm not impressed really, but maybe we'll get use to it."

Sports Apparel Store Florida Bama Fever owners have already order new merchandise with the new logos.

They are still waiting on the shipment to arrive.
"It's a little different, so it will be interesting to hear what customers come in and say."
The new logo has struck a debate between fans.
"This one he means business on this one."

Jodi Bottoms "Usually what happens is you'll have some people who are very loyal to the old logo will want to stock up on everything that they can find."

Many are protesting the change. Like Chris Haring.
He is buying anything he can get his hands on that has the old logo.

Chris Haring: "Ahhh... I don't like it. I like the old logo."
"It's more tradition that one there."
"The Seminole tribe was at the unveiling and approved of the new logo.
But I think every FSU is in agreement. No matter what the logo or uniforms look like they're still National Champions."
