On the map below, the circle over the Gulf of Mexico is for an area of low pressure heading toward Texas.  Development is not expected.  Also, we're tracking Cristobal and a tropical wave over the Atlantic Ocean that may become another depression though chances are low.

Several Pensacola parks closed

Several parks in the city of Pensacola are closed indefinitely.

At the Roger Scott Tennis Center and Dog Park, several courts and walkways were torn up.   Part of the parking lot collapsed and washed onto Summit Boulevard.

The Vickrey Resource Center has the most damage from high water. They had a foot of water inside and expect to be closed for several months.

The other parks that are closed are the Bayview Resource Center and the splash pad at Plaza de Luna.
