Crescent Lake one of hardest hit areas

Crescent lake used to be a primary feature of this community. But the water level is now down five to six feet.

Much of the lake came crashing through the night streets creating power currents and washing out cars and much of the road.

The aftermath is debris from homes and roads and car after car stuck in the earth.

"I need a car, mine is up there," said Mia Carvo.

Those who need to leave-- have to get creative with their drive

People spent the day cleaning up what they can by shoveling sand and cleaning scraps from their homes and streets.

Billy Slavy, the man who was more than happy to lend strangers a hand during this year's ice storm, was back at it again helping people pull cars. He's been around the block and says he sees the same thing over and over.

"Just loss, people losing everything, freezers full of food right there, property, just people losing it all."
