FL Insurance Companies under fire for discriminating against people with Aids
Four Florida Insurance Companies are under fire for alleging discriminating against people with HIV and Aids.
The National Health Law program and the Aids Institute filed the complaint yesterday.
They say, coventryone, cigna, humana and preferred medical are violating the affordable care act, by structuring their drug policies in a way that discourages consumers with HIV and Aids from choosing their plans.
The complaint asks Federal Officials to investigate.
