Hundreds of veterans and families gather at Barrancas National Cemetery to honor fallen servicemembers

This morning hundreds of veterans and their families gathered for Memorial Day services at Barrancas National Cemetery.
   
Nearby flags marked graves where loved ones of fallen troops paid their respects.
it was an emotional day at Barrancas National Cemetery.  Family friends even strangers paid the respect to our fallen military heroes

21 gun salute, and taps....
Taps played and soldiers saluted all in remembrance of military members who've died while serving our country.

Susan Schneidewend's husband died earlier this year    He served in the Navy for 22 years
I just hope that everyone in this country, can remember the sacrifices these men do for their country, and honor them like they should be honored...

It was important for him to be laid to rest-with fellow sailors ...
