2nd-round of debris clean-up begins Tuesday in Gulf Breeze

350 homes in Gulf Breeze suffered flood damage during last month's storm and the city is still in the process of picking up debris from the side of the road.

Gulf Breeze has contracted a disaster clean up company out of Mobile to clean out the debris.
So far 75% of the debris left by the flood in Gulf Breeze has been cleaned out.

People living in Gulf Breeze say the clean up trucks are a welcome sight.
"I see those huge trucks coming, and it's much clearer than it was a few weeks ago so I'm real happy about it"

The 2nd round of debris clean-up will be on Tuesday.
All debris clean-up is expected to be complete by the end of next week.

Escambia County ended debris collection last Friday.
It still has a debris drop-off site on Nine Mile road open 7am-5pm, seven days a week.

The City of Pensacola will have a final debris collection on Saturday, May 24th.

An additional collection may be requested after May 24th by calling 435-1890.
It will cost you $15.
