Good Samaritan killed while helping woman trapped in car

A father of seven was killed while trying to help a woman flipped over in her car.
Reporter Amanda Ober shows us how his family shares his legacy of kindness.

46 year old Marcceaus Marc was a mechanic, affectionately known to his friends and family as "Mr. Fix-it"
"He's always trying to help... He always on a mission to help anybody with their car.. he loved fixing cars..he's a mechanic."

The Maitland father and auto mechanic moved to the US from Haiti and with his wife of over 20 years was working hard to create the American dream.
"He loved his family and he do anything for his family.. he do his job plus another job so that man work very hard."

Marc lost his life Saturday morning at this accident scene on I-4 near Central Florida Parkway.

He was taking his wife to work at the Gaylord Palms when they came upon an SUV that had lost control and flipped.

Marc and another driver pulled aside and walked over to the SUV to try and help a trapped woman get out.
But tragically, another vehicle driven by 42 year old Carlos Torres,  lost control as he approached the scene. He ended up slamming into both good Samaritans.

Marc was killed and the other woman trying to assist, 26 year old Maleah Meyers of Haines City is in critical condition.
The woman inside the flipped SUV was okay.

Dozens of friends and relatives gathered at the Marc's home in Maitland where they shared memories of a man who was known for his generous heart and his love of family.
"He tried his best to always get us on the right track so we could grow up and become something better in life."
