HEALTH: Study shows drinking 'diet coke' can help people lose weight

A new study shows drinking *diet* soda can help you lose weight. 
Researchers split 300 diet soda drinkers into two groups and put them on a diet.
   
The only difference is one was allowed to drink diet soda and the other wasn't.
   
The group that kept drinking lost an average of four additional pounds over a twelve-week period.
   
Critics say it's because sticking to a new diet takes willpower and it's easier to do if you're not giving up something else at the same time, like soda.
