Volunteers bring food to Bristol Park Community
More and more volunteers have given up their time and even donated several items to flood victims.
But one volunteer in particular has many in the Bristol Park Community giving thanks.
Tuesday night Brenden Moore took his boat to the neighborhood knocking down doors, windows, and cutting holes in roof's rescuing people.
If that wasn't enough, Saturday he and several other's showed up to the neighborhood with Fryers and Smokers, feeding the community.
"They don't have power and they don't have anywhere to go, they don't have anywhere to cook. So, if we come out here and we cook and come here and do what we need to do and they're fed for the day. It just makes me feel like the lord has put me in the place today where he wants me and this is where I need to be."
They had 40 Boston butts, 60 whole chickens, 40 racks of ribs, and 200 pounds of fish.
