Florida appeals court upholds sentence against former Okaloosa Co Sheriff Office employee

A Florida appeals court has upheld the sentencing of a former employee of the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office who was convicted on racketeering and theft charges.

Randall Holcombe was a fleet manager and advisor to former sheriff Charlie Morris.

Holcombe was convicted in 2012 of a Rico conspiracy in what prosecutors call a kickback scheme.
They say Holcombe used inmate labor and county equipment to help Morris' wife in her estate sale business.
Holcombe was sentenced to four years in prison and ordered to pay more than 82,000 dollars in restitution.
