Washington High School students create mural at Workman Middle

Some students from Washington High School in Pensacola have been spending a lot of time at Workman Middle School.

They're painting a mural in the courtyard.
The image is a world globe, with the international Baccalaureate logo in the center and handprints all around.
The artists have been working on it for several weeks and they're almost finished.

Leah Chesney:
"I think it's really cool and it feels really good putting myself here at the school, something to leave behind."

Mary Parker
"It's pretty fun. It's been hot, but it's been a good experience.
We hope for it to stay for years to come."

They still have to add a slogan "Think globally, act locally" which they hope will inspire students always to look at the bigger picture.
