Naval Aviation Museum holds annual symposium
The Naval Aviation Museum Foundation is holding their annual symposium this week.
The 28th annual Naval Aviation Symposium will feature three panels celebrating women in naval aviation, 100 years of naval aviation flight training, and the winging ceremony.
For 70 dollars, people can get a ticket to the reception and banquet with guest speaker Admiral William Gortney, the Commander of the U.S Fleet Forces Command.
In 1977, Gortney entered the Navy as an aviation officer candidate at Aviation Officer Candidate School at NAS Pensacola.

The National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola is one of the world's largest aviation museums.
It is located on the Pensacola Naval Air Station.
The museum is open daily from 9 to 5 and is free to the public.
