Teen faces charges for bringing firearm on school property

A 13 year old has been arrested in Crestview for bringing a loaded gun to school!
Okaloosa deputies say Jeremiah Murphy hid the handgun in his boot, and road the bus to Crestview High School, and then hid the gun in the woods nearby.

Deputies say at the end of the day, Murphy retrieved the gun, and got on the bus to go back home.
He was arrested after he shot the gun off at the intersection of Bambi Road and Chambray Road to quote "See how loud it was"
   
Murphy says he got the gun from a family member's car.
He's now charged with carrying a concealed firearm, having a gun on school property, shooting a firearm in public, and grand theft.
