Crew members of sunken ferry in court

15 crew members from the sunken South Korean ferry were in court Tuesday morning.

They are entering pleas on charges that they were negligent and failed to save passengers in the disaster, which left more than 300 people dead or missing.

The captain and three other crew members are charged with homicide.

Prosecutors accuse them of abandoning the ship while knowing passengers would be trapped and killed.

The other 11 crew members have been indicted on less serious charges.

Most of those killed in the April 16th sinking of the Sewol ferry were high school students.
