Prominent Florida man accused of having sex slaves

A prominent Florida man is accused of holding three women as sex slaves.
Police say the suspect met the women on the social networking site backpage.com and gave them drugs for sex.

Leslie Coursey has more on this story.
Timothy Deegan, accountant by day,  at night owner what Alachua County investigators describe as a house of horrors.

"It's a prominent neighborhood. It is an upper-class neighborhood. And no one really saw it coming."

Deegan was arrested Friday on charges he kept three women locked in his house as sex slaves.

"He met them on a site called backpage.com.  Backpage.com is used for interacting with people either thru dating or prostitution.

Documents I obtained detail how investigators say Deegan would give the women cocaine in exchange for sex and house cleaning. They say he videotaped their sexual encounters, streamed it on the internet and even prostituted them out to others.

After noticing someone inside Deegan's house, I knocked on the door. No one answered. I went to his office. The door was locked. His neighbors were afraid to talk on camera.  Investigators say Deegan has been under investigation since December... And that crimes like these are more common than you think.

"It's becoming very prolific. And we're all working very diligently  try to curb it because it's a very serious crime.
Deegan is charged with three counts of human trafficking and police say more charges could follow.

For now, he's being held in Alachua County Jail.
