Mobile Vietnam Vet says healthcare problems come as no surprise to him

This new information comes as no surprise to a Vietnam War veteran living in Mobile.
AB Grantham was awarded a Purple Heart in the Vietnam War after an AK-47 round hit him in the chest.
Now far from the war zone, he still finds himself in a battle -- this time over the healthcare he was promised.

Grantham has sought care at the VA Clinic in Mobile.   He says only to be mis-diagnosed.
He says it took almost a year to be properly diagnosed with a torn rotator cuff.   An injury related to that AK-47 bullet that went through his body in 1965.

That's a very substandard clinic.
I'm surprised they're not at the top of the list

Alabama congressman Bradley Byrne says it's time for an overhaul.
He says he would like to see a system in place where veterans can choose their own doctors and the government pay for their care.
