General Motors forced to "stop sale" on best selling model
More bad news for GM.
They've ordered dealers in the U.S. and Canada to stop selling one of the company's best selling car models.
The "Stop Sale" order was placed on the 2013 and 2014 Chevy Cruze Sedans because of a potential airbag defect.
Some 33,000 cars are involved.
The airbags were made by Japanese supplier Takata.
A Stop-Sale order is not the same as a recall.
The Cruze is GM's best-selling car model in the United States, selling 248,000 last year.
