Possible airbag problems forces GM to stop selling

General Motors told dealers in the U.S. and Canada to stop selling some if it's vehicles due to possible defects.

Some 2013 and 2014 Chevrolet Cruzes may have defects in air bags made by Takata.

GM has identified about 33,000 Cruzes that may have been built with parts from the defective batch of inflator modules and is close to identifying all the problem cars.

Once it does, GM can lift the stop sale order because dealers will be able to isolate the cars with the suspect module and sell the cars that are okay.
