Deadline nears for applying for flood disaster help

People who suffered damage during the April flood only have two more weeks to apply for disaster assistance through FEMA.
The deadline to register is Monday, July 7th.
Storm victims in Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton Counties are eligible to apply for Disaster Assistance that may include money to help pay for temporary housing, essential home repairs or other serious disaster-related expenses.

To date, nearly $62 million in state and federal disaster assistance has been approved to help Floridians and their communities recover.
