Walnut Hill man arrested in strange shooting

Escambia County deputies arrested a Walnut Hill man last night after a strange shooting just before 7:30.

Deputies say 71-year-old Marshall Harmon got into an argument with his 32-year-old son.

Harmon's son took off on a riding lawn mower down Breastworks road.

Harmon followed him in his pick-up truck and pulled along side him near North Pine Barren Road.
Deputies say Harmon fired two shots in his son's direction.

It's not clear if Harmon intended to hit his son, but his son was hit in the neck and taken to the hospital.
The injury doesn't appear to be life threatening.
Harmon is in jail for aggravated assault with no bond set.
