Senate sets up bill to help veterans caught in recent scandal

The senate is set to take up a new bill aimed at the short-term health care needs of veterans caught in a recent scandal.
A Federal investigation found that some 1700 veterans in need of care were "at risk of being lost or forgotten."
The Wall Street Journal reports the bill would allow veterans facing long delays to get care outside the VA system at private doctors' offices, health centers, or military bases.
