U.S. Census Bureau: More elderly people living in Florida
New estimates show Florida's population continues to get older last year from a combination of natural aging and new residents.
That's according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
The state had the highest rate of residents older than 65.
New estimates also show Floridas population grew by 1.2 percent from 2012 to 2013.
The state now has about 19.5 million residents.
