Crowded boat ramps at Navy Point
It's was a big weekend to be on the water. Some boaters became frustrated when they tried to put their boats in the water.
Parking at one area boat ramp is a problem that boaters would like to see be fixed soon.
It is hard to find one open parking spot here at the Navy Point boat ramp that can accommodate more than 50 vehicles with trailers.
"That's why I never launch here," said boater Preston Moye.
A boat launch here and a boat launch there --- but not a place to park.
"It's definitely a real pain," Moye said.
A pain that has a process.
"First you got to circle the place and make sure there's a spot open before you launch," said boater Terry Meyers.
For Terry Meyers, he had to circle the parking lot twice before he got lucky.
"There was only one spot open and we splashed and took it," Meyers said.
