April flood leaves sinkhole in Chezarae Drive home's backyard

The April flood left many people's homes and properties destroyed.
One elderly man and his wife say the flood waters left a sink hole in their backyard on Chezarae Drive in Pensacola.

During the heavy rain fall Douglas Baker says running water rushed through his backyard.
"It actually came over the curb from the street and across my yard and got underneath the ground some how and washed  the dirt underneath out."
After the rain Douglas found this hole in his backyard.
He says the hole is 17-feet wide and 8-feet deep.
And he's concerned for his shed which sits inches away from the hole.
3-truck loads of dirt sit nearby waiting to fill in the space.
Douglas Baker  "The last dirt that was here washed out in that drainage ditch and if I put this down and it's liable to wash out too."
But, at 80-years old Douglas suffers from Muscle Atrophy and has limited mobility of his left arm making shoveling dirt impossible.
He's hoping to hire a company to help.
"They hope once all of this dirt is moved inside the hole that they'll have no more problems."
