Weather forecast for July 4th weekend

Thankfully we wont be seeing anything out of Hurricane Arthur here in the panhandle.

But we can expect to see some hot temperatures.
Chief Meteorologist Allen Strum joins us now.
Allen what does the 4th of July forecast have in store for us.
The weather around here has been incredibly hot all week. There is excellent news for the 4th of July holiday. The air will be less humid thanks in part due to Arthur which is right along the East Coast. So look for the air to feel less humid during the fourth of July as well as Saturday.

Temperature is right now aren't quite as hot here is a look at the local champs. Here is a look at the heat index values across North West FL. The fireworks forecast calls for clear skies, no chance for rain, and temperatures in the 80s.

Arthur is now or hurricane and you can see it spinning over the Atlantic Ocean. The center of the storm is very close to the North Carolina coast. The latest forecast track has it cruising right over the Outer Banks of North Carolina. It will week and once it moves over some colder water in the North Atlantic. This map shows computer models each line is a different computer model. Hurricane warnings are posted along the Carolina coast.
