Last-minute visitors for the 4th of July weekend might have some trouble lining up a room.
The Emerald Coast is virtually booked solid for the holiday.

Marketing Director Martin Owen says they're cobbling together bookings with a couple of nights at one property, another somewhere else.
Martin "They're playing a game of "Tetris" out here, basically, travel Tetris!"
At Waterscape Resort, the holiday weekend is already on.
Adam and Lisa Ward say they had a dozen "nos" before they snagged a condo here.
Lisa Ward "It was very extensive, we had to call several places, we used multiple websites, just trying to find a place, we have a large group of us trying to come down"
Lisa says last-minute planning isn't really their style, they usually have holiday vacations down to a science.
Lisa "Best thing is to kind of get ahead of the traffic, travel at night, let the kids sleep in the car"
Owen says in general, people are booking later for drive destinations like Northwest Florida, waiting to make sure the weather cooperates.
But sometimes you can wait too long.
Martin Owen "I think people are going to have a great time, and all I'm asking them to do is next year, book it early. Guys, please book it early"
Laura Hussey "I'm told every weekend in July is already starting to Get tight, so consider yourself warned."
Buck Lee with the Santa Rosa Island Authority says nearly every beach hotel and vacation condo is completely booked, some since six months ago.
The Perdido Key Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center says all hotels and condos are booked there.
Navarre Beach in Santa Rosa County still has some availability this weekend.
And it's the same booking situation for next weekend for the Blue Angel Air Show.
