Pensacola's sister city donates $13,000 for flood recovery

Pensacola's sister city, Gero, Japan, donates almost 13,000 dollars to support flood recovery.
After the flood, Gero City officials contacted Pensacola asking how they could help.

The sister city was able to donate 12,888 dollars that will go to the United Way of Escambia County.
Since the flood almost 180,000 has been donated and given out by United Way to local non-profit organizations who experienced loss the flood.

Pensacola and Gero, Japan, became sister cities in 1998 though Sister Cities International to promote cultural and trade exchange.
