Four Dead, Nine Injured after Three Boats Collide in South Florida

MIAMI, Fla. -- The search is over and all people are accounted for following a boating accident in South Florida.

Jorge Pinot of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, says four people are dead, and nine more are injured after three boats collided the night of the Fourth of July.

"It's a tragedy to see," he said "It's the worst I've seen with the Florida Fish and Wildlife"

Numerous agencies, dive teams, even the families themselves were involved in search and rescue efforts.

The crash happened before 11 p.m. about a mile and a half from Dinner Key Marina.

The cause of the wreck is still under investigation.

Nine people total were transported to area hospitals, where two died.

Another two were located in the water early Saturday morning
