RAW VIDEO: Administrator body slams student

A Mobile County assistant principal is getting a promotion despite being caught on camera body-slamming a student to the ground.

The video shows Murphy High School's  assistant principal Gerald Cunningham escorting a student who was allegedly involved in a fight at the end of last school year.
The student struggles against Cunningham while using profanity.
The assistant principal then lifts the student up and slams him to the ground.
Other students confirmed that Cunningham had warned the student about using profanity several times before taking him down.
Despite the controversial video, the Mobile County School Board approved a promotion for Cunningham.
He is expected to begin his new job as head principal of Vigor High School next week.
