UPDATE: Body of missing boater found

Rescue crews have recovered the body of a boater in Pensacola Bay.

Stan Kirkland with Florida Wildlife Commission said the body of 56 year old Louie Baca was found by a passing boater around four 30 this afternoon.
The body was found more than a mile east of Bay Bridge.

Baca fell off a boat at around one 30 this morning.
The boat's driver, Aaron Harrison, says the group of four people launched at the 17th avenue ramp and went into the bay to fish.
He says when they got to the Gulf Breeze side of the bay, he noticed Baca was gone.
Baca could not swim and was not wearing his life vest.Stan Kirkland confirms that the body of Louie Baca was recovered by a passing boater around 4:30.
It was found two-and-a-half miles southeast of the 17th Avenue boat ramp, about a mile or mile-and-a-half east of the Bay Bridge.

The family has been notified.
