Florida to lease standardized questions from Utah's tests
Florida's Department of Education will be leasing questions from Utah's standardized tests for next year's student assessments.
A spokesperson for the department says 90-percent of the Florida Standards Assessment will consist of questions written for Utah students.
The other 10-percent will be questions written for Florida students that are being field tested.
Students will only be scored on the questions from Utah.
The licensing agreement will cost the state up to 5-million dollars for the first year.
