June job report

July 4th isn't until tomorrow -- but job seekers may have something to celebrate today.
The latest jobs report from the Department of Labor shows the US economy added 288,000 jobs in June.

June marks the 5th straight month employers have added at least two-hundred-thousand jobs.

The last time that happened was in 1999.
The report also showed a slight drop in unemployment -- down from 6.3 % to 6.1 % in May.
